Operator and data controller
Croda Studio is the trading name of Tomáš Hirsch, the operator of this website and controller of launch signup data. Contact: hello@croda.studio. Location: Prague, Czech Republic.
Launch announcements
If you ask for a launch announcement, we use your email address and your request to send that announcement. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Signing up is optional. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@croda.studio, without affecting processing that happened before withdrawal.
How signup works
The signup form stores your email address, signup date and consent version. We use Cloudflare, Inc. to host the website and store signups. We do not sell addresses or use them for newsletters. Cloudflare may process data outside the EEA under its Data Processing Addendum and applicable transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses. In local development, records stay on the developer’s computer.
Retention
We retain launch requests for up to six months, or until the announcement is sent, the project is cancelled, or you withdraw consent, whichever happens first. Expired signup records are removed when the next signup is processed. Backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days. Email correspondence is kept only as needed to resolve your request or meet legal obligations.
Website data
We use Umami Cloud to measure production page visits, clicks, form submissions and signup outcomes. Analytics events include the landing-page hostname, page path and interaction metadata, but do not include email addresses or form field values. The website uses session storage for campaign attribution and to avoid counting the same event twice within a session. Hosting providers may process technical request data, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website. Cloudflare handles hosting; its retention practices are described in its privacy policy. Signup addresses are not sent to analytics.
Your rights
Where applicable, you can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact hello@croda.studio. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, including the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).
Your Mac
This website does not collect your block lists or browsing content. The planned app processes blocking locally on your Mac. App-specific privacy information will be provided before release.
